AlwahWDusur [An Arabic expression, in English, means “boards and dowels”] creates high-quality wooden handcrafted toys using safe materials.

We choose raw materials carefully from natural solid wood and non-toxic safe finishing materials. Also, we make sure that every piece has a smooth surface with no sharp edges.

Our designs are based on the “less distraction, more interaction” principle with simple components and characteristics, to encourage “open-ended play”.

Some toy designs have been inspired by Waldorf and Montessori education philosophies that are suitable for flexible learning systems and homeschooling or even for kindergartens or schools.
